About Eurol BV
The beginning
Pioneering entrepreneurship and a sense of quality were what drove Johan Pfeiffer to set up the Eurol company and brand in Nijverdal in 1977. At that time the Eurol product range only included lubricants for motorcycles. Due to various successes in motor sport, the Eurol brand quickly became known in the Netherlands.
In the 1980s, the product range expanded to other segments such as automotive, two-wheeled vehicles, industry, trucking and agriculture. In the nineties Eurol built a new factory for blending and filling. With production in its own hands and in-house R&D facilities, Eurol was able to develop more quickly and guarantee even more consistent quality. From that moment on Eurol is the only independent Dutch lubricant producer.
International ambition In the following years Eurol quickly grew into a major player on the global market. Johan Pfeiffer had a clear international ambition right from the start. This is also reflected in the logo: 'Eurol' is a combination of 'Europe' and 'Oil'. The logo has two meanings. The logo consists of an inserted 'E' and 'O' which visually support our brand name. In addition, from the top view you can see a figure holding an oil drum. This figure symbolises the passion with which our employees produce the quality products of Eurol.
Name and fame Eurol's international name recognition was given an extra boost in 2010 by the support of various teams in the Dakar Rally. A growing number of importers and dealers are enthusiastically cooperating with Eurol, contributing to our name and fame worldwide. As of 2016, with the support of Tom Coronel, we are active in the international FIA WTCR championship and thus the Eurol brand reaches an even larger audience.
