Gas Injection Technique (GIT) by Eisenhuth GmbH & Co. KG

Product inquiry

The main reasons for the use of the gas injection technique are the following:

  • uniform filling-out of thick-walled areas without sink marks.
  • reduced cooling time for thick-walled molded Parts.
  • reduced filling pressure or lower number of injection points required for large thin-walled molded parts.
  • production of geometries with a high torsional rigidity.
  • design solutions with shapes that were previously impossible to produce by injection molding.
  • low-warp combination of areas with very thick walls and areas with very thin walls on a single molding without any perceptible deterioration in surface quality.
  • alternative to hollow-article blow molding.
