The SP 5008 - 46 ps - is an articulated, compact hydraulic machine designed exclusively for municipal applications, i.e. for the maintenance of pedestrian areas and old towns, for street cleaning and snow removal, for the maintenance of public parks and private gardens. The SP can be equipped with front, centre and rear-mounted implements without loss of speed. Furthermore, the loading platform on the hood of the SP is extremely practical for transporting a wide variety of materials.
Among the mechanical novelties, rear reduction gears for better stability and manoeuvrability and hydraulically operated brakes for energetic and well graduated braking manoeuvres. Another new feature is the pedal-operated drive, which controls the hydraulic transmission hydraulically and contributes to a large extent to driving comfort, functional efficiency and safety. An JPM™ joystick for controlling the attachments is located in an ergonomic position so that the operator has everything at hand. For jobs requiring a constant forward speed, the operator can use the "speed-fix" feature to set the desired speed.
