MEASURING METHOD
The measured values are recorded by contact. Different measurement set-ups are available:
Differential measuring procedure with to measuring heads which are arranged opposite each other:
- The measured material is scanned from both sides.
- The two measured values are offset against each other.
- Thus, vibrations or any unevenness of the panels do not influence the measurement result.
- The automatic calibration makes a consistent repeatability possible.
This measurement is reasonable in case of rough surfaces if the vertical position of the measured material varies or if the measured material is bent.
Differential measurement procedure with a measuring head and a stationary measuring roll as reference plane:
- The measured material is scanned from one side. A stationary measuring roll on the other side is used as reference plane.
- The measurement is appropriate for very thin materials which can be led in a smooth manner.
