Natural fibre ropes by August Vormann GmbH & Co. KG
Hemp and sisal are pure natural fibres. Compared to synthetic fibers, they are antistatic and have less tear strength. Hemp is the more supple fibre, sisal the firmer, harder fibre. Both fibers rot when wet and should therefore be protected accordingly. Before storage, wet natural fiber ropes should be air-dried.
