Sling ropes by Westdeutscher Drahtseil-Verkauf Dolezych GmbH & Co. KG

Sling ropes are steel wire ropes that are equipped with the appropriate hook and used for lifting and transporting loads and are part of the basic equipment of every company.

The manufacture of ropes is regulated by DIN EN 13414 (formerly DIN 3088). The familiar distinction between the sling rope types N = normal rope, F = Flemish eye, K = cable sling rope and G = Grummet no longer exists. Instead, the European regulations distinguish between sling ropes according to the type of core and the end connection.
