Ultrafiltration systems by EnviroChemie GmbH

Product inquiry

Ultrafiltration is used in many different areas and industries for wastewater treatment and water purification. EnviroChemie is your partner for reliable solutions for sustainable water treatment using the Envopur® ultrafiltration process.

This special membrane process is used, for example, to retain biomass, can extend the service life of degreasing baths, is used in the recycling of wastewater produced during vibratory grinding, and splits oil-water emulsions such as compressor condensate. These are just a few of the applications in which Envopur® ultrafiltration processes close loops in water management in an economically and ecologically sensible way.

The special features of ultrafiltration
The main difference between ultrafiltration and microfiltration is the pore size of the membrane used in the modules. The pores of the membrane measure less than 0.1 µm and are thus smaller than in microfiltration, but larger than in nanofiltration.

Another distinguishing feature of ultrafiltration membranes is their asymmetric structure. The membrane body consists of a separation-active layer with pores in the submicron range and an open-pored support layer, which has a pure support function. The membranes in microfiltration, on the other hand, are symmetrical and open-pored, with no variation in pore size in the membrane body.

The Envopur® ultrafiltration processes developed by EnviroChemie are designed to ensure the targeted separation of introduced contaminants by the filtration membrane and to provide you with optimum results in wastewater or process water treatment.
