Patent - Recuperative System for Vehicles (Patent - Airflow-Based Recuperative or Regenerative Braking System for Vehicles) by European Business Group
The patent application describes an airflow-based recuperative or regenerative braking system for vehicles that is intended to be used independently of the respective drive type that is, in electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and purely internal combustion engine vehicles. The aim is not to lose kinetic or propulsion energy primarily through tire friction or conventional friction brakes as heat, but instead to recover it, or at least make it usable, by means of a deliberately guided airflow.
The core idea is an air guide channel integrated into the vehicle body, which takes in air at the front of the vehicle and guides it through the vehicle or vehicle body toward a rear region. Repellers, understood as airflow-driven air screws or propeller-like elements, are arranged there and extract energy from the airflow. This energy is transferred via mechanical or electrical transmission units into various energy storage units.
