SHELMO manufactures custom wire shelves for commercial refrigeration equipment, retail shelving and product display systems. Each shelf is produced according to the customer’s drawing, technical specification, reference sample or required dimensions.

The design can be adapted to the target appliance or shelving system, including:

• Length, width and height
• Wire diameter and spacing
• Frame construction and reinforcement
• Mounting and support points
• Front and rear edges
• Load requirements
• Colour and surface finish

Wire shelves can be manufactured from carbon steel or stainless steel. Available finishes include powder coating, polyethylene coating, zinc plating and chrome plating. The appropriate finish is selected according to the required corrosion resistance, appearance and operating environment.

Our shelves are used in refrigerated display cabinets, refrigerator and freezer cabinets, retail shelving, promotional displays and other commercial equipment.

SHELMO specialises in small and medium production runs. Before starting serial production, we can prepare a sample to verify dimensions, fit, mounting points, stability and surface finish.

We support both new product development and the reproduction of replacement shelves for service and refurbishment projects. If full technical documentation is unavailable, an initial feasibility assessment can be carried out using an existing shelf, drawing, photograph or principal dimensions.
