The piezoelectric quartz WIM sensor employs piezoelectric quartz crystals as its measuring elements, utilising a patented structure to form a rigid strip-shaped dynamic load-bearing sensor. Comprising piezoelectric quartz film, electrode plates, and a special beam-combination carrier, it is available in specifications including 1 metre, 1.5 metres, 1.75 metres, and 2 metres. Multiple dimensions accommodate varying lane widths, enabling configuration into diverse road traffic sensor specifications.
The CWST QST8400 piezoelectric quartz WIM sensor developed by our company features a wide measurement range, excellent long-term stability, outstanding repeatability, high precision, and high-frequency response. It enables real-time measurement of wheel and axle loads, rapidly determining axle load information as vehicles pass over it. It is particularly suitable for dynamic load testing.
