Profile system for visible mounting of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) in 260 x 130 cm format.
A substructure system based on UKLA-BIPV consists of vertical aluminum T-beam profiles, wall brackets and optional accessories. The wall brackets are made of aluminum or stainless steel, depending on the thermal requirements.
The cladding elements are attached to the support profiles with clips. They are arranged so that they are located behind each vertical panel joint. The coated clips are divided into start/end and middle clips.
All BIPV elements are visibly screwed together from the outside and are therefore fully serviceable.
The support profiles are connected to the wall brackets with rivets or screws. Sliding points absorb horizontal loads (wind) and fixed points absorb horizontal and vertical loads (dead weight). The sliding points are installed in vertical slots without constraint. One fixed point is arranged per support profile.
For easier installation, the wall brackets are optionally equipped with an installation aid that enables the support profile to be fixed and held in place.
Thermostop elements are available as a thermal break to minimize thermal bridges.
