Precious M 080 - the machine for the end-to-end solution
Direct metal laser-sintering (DMLS) is one of the most advanced processes in jewelry manufacturing. With the PRECIOUS M 080, Cooksongold, a company belonging to the Heimerle + Meule Group, has a technology that harnesses the power of three-dimensional CAD design. The PRECIOUS M 080 produces high-quality metal parts ready for finishing directly from three-dimensional CAD data, fully automatically in just a few hours and without tools. The process is "additive," meaning that parts are manufactured layer by layer by melting fine metal powder with a laser. The machine is equipped with a laser that provides excellent beam quality and power stability.
This ensures optimal and consistent processing conditions to produce the highest quality parts. The system's laser has a small focal diameter with excellent detail resolution, so that even the finest structures and extremely complex models such as free-form surfaces, hollow molds and moving parts can be produced.
The PRECIOUS M 080 was developed by Cooksongold in collaboration with the renowned company EOS.
