The valve sensor is used for reliable feedback of positions on valves with linear actuators. The sensor reports up to three important valve positions to the controller: valve open, valve closed and any intermediate position, for example for seat lifting.
The high resolution of the travel also allows wear of the valve head seals to be detected, thus permitting condition-based maintenance. Maintenance intervals can be adapted to actual wear to increase service life and availability.
The use of the valve sensor eliminates the need for costly installation of several individual position feedback devices.
The switching points can be conveniently set at the touch of a button. This saves time-consuming mechanical adjustment to the corresponding valve positions. Mounting tolerances or switching distances no longer have to be taken into account.
LEDs signal the three possible valve positions.
The valve sensor is available with switching outputs, analog output or AS-Interface.
