The Mastercycler® nexus X2 was developed by Eppendorf as a solution for busy PCR laboratories. Two completely independent protocols can be run simultaneously on the two blocks, allowing two PCR users to start and stop their PCR reactions independently whenever you want. One of the assays can even contain up to 64 samples. With a noise level of only 40 dB[a], the PCR cycler nexus is very quiet and energy efficient at the same time.

Run two independent protocols simultaneously on one PCR thermal cycler with the Eppendorf Mastercycler® nexus X2. The 32-well block is well suited for small assays, while larger assays can be run on the 64-well block. This block with a gradient function available.

Like any member of the Mastercycler nexus family, the Mastercycler nexus X2 can be combined with any other instrument in this family in a network of up to three instruments. When used in conjunction with Eppendorf PCR tubes, PCR strips or separable plates, the Mastercycler nexus X2 provides you with consistent, publication-ready results - every day!

The flexlid® concept for effortless height adjustment

Thanks to the flexlid concept, the PCR thermal cycler nexus X2 copes with all types of consumables from low volumes to 0.5 mL PCR tubes. Of course, all common PCR plates fit - and if you should ever need a higher throughput, you can simply connect one or two Mastercycler nexus X2 eco to your Mastercycler nexus.

Gradient with SteadySlope® technology

The gradient function of the Mastercycler pro is based on SteadySlope technology. This technology guarantees that the heating and cooling rates are identical in gradient and normal operation. This gives you identical temperatures during optimization and routine tests. Programming the gradient with the control panel and CycleManager pro is simple and intuitive, so new users can work quickly and independently.
