There is an increasing demand for special gas mixtures. In addition, very frequently changing concentrations are needed. Bronkhorst has gained a lot of experience regarding the supply of mass flow controllers for applications of this kind. The production of homogeneous gas mixtures is not only a question of stoichiometry but also of controlled merging and mixing of two or more gas streams. For example, if 1 mln/min dopant has to be diluted with 10 ln/min diluent gas, a homogeneous mixture can only be achieved by using a suitable mixing chamber.
