Ultrasonic sensors in the M30 design

Long ranges
The new ifm ultrasonic sensors in the M30 design are characterized by a long range of up to 8 m. This makes these sensors suitable for detecting objects at great distances or for continuously monitoring fill levels, e.g. bulk materials or liquids. Unlike optical sensors, the color, transparency or gloss level of the object and the medium are irrelevant.

Adjustable sound beam
Unwanted reflections often occur on the inside of the tank in level applications due to limited space. This can lead to falsified measurement results. Thanks to IO-Link, the width of the sound beam can be individually adjusted and adapted to the application. The user is already ideally equipped for Industry 4.0 thanks to IO-Link.
