AC/DC sensors

Capacitive sensors detect powdery bulk materials like flour or cocoa or agricultural products like grain directly or through vessel walls of silos and pneumatic conveying systems. They can be easily adapted to the respective application by adjusting the sensing range using a potentiometer. Some sensor types allow direct adjustment to the medium via the buttons on the sensor.

Capacitive sensors with AC or AC/DC output stage are suitable for use in alternating current networks. For units with combined output stage, the sensor decides which output (DC or AC) switches depending on the voltage applied.
The high sensing ranges are guaranteed over the complete temperature range.
