Full harnesses (chest-waist combinations) prevent the wearer from tipping backwards in the event of a fall, and are aimed primarily at rucksack wearers. Since the majority of falls occur whilst sport climbing, our sports harnesses are padded in the hip and thigh area. We know mountaineers need more equipment, so we have armed their harnesses with more gear loops.
