Due to modern power electronics, more and more interference pulses are transmitted to the downstream motors. This can lead to high oscillating circuit voltages due to parasitic capacitances (cables, in components) and damage or destroy the motor winding. In order to reduce or eliminate these disturbances (harmonics, EMC), a sinusoidal filter is additionally connected between the frequency converter and the motor.

Chokes are vacuum impregnated with cast resin varnish to reduce humming noises and increase insulation.
