Hard Ferrite Magnets by MMT Mannel Magnettechnik GmbH

The cost-effective permanent magnet

Hard ferrite magnets are made from iron oxide and strontium. The two raw materials are mixed, granulated, then pre-sintered (calcined), finely ground again, then pressed into the appropriate shape and finally sintered. The finished permanent magnet can withstand service temperatures of up to 250° Celsius. As their magnetic force is comparatively low, they are mainly used in loudspeakers and computers.
