Plastic-bonded Hard Ferrite Magnet by MMT Mannel Magnettechnik GmbH

The permanent magnet with plastic

The plastic-bonded ferrite magnets are made of iron oxide and barium. The two elements are mixed together according to quality. Next, they are granulated and then pre-sintered (calcined). In the final production step, plastic is added to the ferrite magnet. The magnetic force of these permanent magnets is relatively low compared to other magnets. This is why they are mostly used in everyday objects such as loudspeakers.
