Adjustable holding force
This solenoid has two fixed stroke end positions. The end positions of these bistable solenoids are defined mechanically. These solenoids are fixed in place with permanent magnetic force and no power supply. Only an electrical impulse in the respective polarity is required to switch over. Bistable solenoids are very often installed in locking systems.
