Inside Forming by UFT Produktion GmbH

Speciality: Double Inside Groove

We have developed an extraordinary technology with our specific know-how in the past years. We are able to integrate inside forming into the normal deep drawing process with high forming speeds, even for small diameters.

Double walls are not a problem and we can produce successfully with a perfect fit in this area. A typical example of this technology is the forming of an "inside groove for O-rings" during the deep drawing process.

This opens up completely new design options for our customers – for instance, two components can be replaced by a single optimised component. Often additional, expensive work steps after deep drawing can thus be eliminated: your production costs are optimised.

This innovative deep drawing process has been established in series production at UFT Umformtechnik since the beginning of 2011 after an intensive laboratory phase. The success up to now has convinced our customers and we are already intensively testing the further development of this forming process: The current new challenge is to manufacture two inside grooves in stainless steel. We started series production in summer 2011.
