The Sustaining Power Award 2024 categories encompassed Automotive Technology Innovation Breakthrough Award, Automotive Process and Equipment Innovation Award, Smart Manufacturing Benchmark Award, Sustainable Development Benchmark Award, Outstanding Automotive Parts Supplier Award, and Outstanding Automotive Equipment Supplier Award.

The Automotive Technology Innovation Breakthrough Award and Automotive Process and Equipment Innovation Award particularly target key industry demands like new energy vehicles, intelligent connectivity, smart manufacturing, green manufacturing, and future transportation. They select advanced automotive innovation technologies and projects demonstrating originality, breakthroughs, and revolutionary advancements. Upon acceptance by the Sustaining Power Award 2024 evaluation group, initial screening and scoring were conducted by the Automotive Manufacturing & Industry editorial department, followed by online voting and, ultimately, professional review and scoring by experts from the Automotive Manufacturing & Industry editorial board. The respective weights were allocated as follows: 30% for the Automotive Manufacturing & Industry editorial evaluation, 20% for online voting, and 50% for expert review by the editorial board, determining the final scores and rankings through a comprehensive weighting system.
