Efficient interaction between manual and automated pipetting Eppendorf presents its new, modern 96-channel liquid handling system:
the epMotion® 96 Flex.
To categorize the device directly: The new epMotion® 96 Flex is positioned between manually held electronic pipettes and fully automated pipetting systems. It therefore delivers significantly improved efficiency and enables increased throughput compared to manual pipetting. It also offers a cost-effective alternative to fully automated liquid handling systems, while taking up less space on the laboratory bench. Thanks to its compact size and sensibly positioned operating elements, the device can also be used in sterile workbenches without any problems.
The dispensing heads of the epMotion® 96 Flex can be exchanged quickly and without tools, enabling effortless adaptation to different volume ranges. Two dispensing heads are available for this system at launch, covering the volume ranges between 0.5 and 300 μL and 5 and 1000 μL.
The epMotion® 96 Flex offers a touch display with intuitive operating software, which ensures user-friendly and precise handling.
Calibrated according to the new ISO 23783-2 standard, the epMotion® 96 Flex offers excellent pipetting accuracy and precision.
beyond its use in manual workflows, this system serves as a valuable addition to large automated systems. In a "feeder" role, it can be used to prepare plates for further automated processing.
The versatile epMotion® 96 Flex complements both manual and automated workflows and fits seamlessly into a wide range of applications, from molecular biology to cell culture.
