Eppendorf improves the monitoring and analysis of bioprocesses with the launch of BioNsight cloud software

In bioprocess development, data is the key to success. It is necessary to understand which critical process parameters influence cell growth, product yield and critical quality attributes, or in short, to quickly develop successful processes. Bioprocess data from different process runs, generated by a wide variety of inline sensors and external analyzers, are like individual pieces of a puzzle. Eppendorf launches BioNsight cloud, a new cloud-based software solution for monitoring and analyzing bioprocesses. It makes it easier to consolidate and analyze bioprocess data in one central location, helping to solve this puzzle and gain insights from data.

BioNsight cloud is fully integrated into the Eppendorf bioprocess control software DASware® control 6. This enables automated data transfer from DASware control 6 to the cloud in real time. It is also possible to upload offline data from external analysis devices, data from
historical runs and process data from bioprocess controllers from other companies.
Analyze and build on data: Data can be contextualized to gain even deeper insights: Data from different runs can be easily synchronized and compared, making it easier to identify patterns across runs and scales, speeding up the development process and ensuring consistent quality and
process performance.

Remote monitoring: BioNsight cloud enables remote monitoring of bioprocesses controlled by DASware control 6 bioprocess control software. This means users always know how their bioprocess runs are performing and can make the right decisions faster while the process is still running.
Simplify data access and collaboration: Bioprocess data in BioNsight cloud is accessible from anywhere and to anyone the owner authorizes. BioNsight cloud was developed with a focus on the highest data security standards. Hosted and built on Microsoft® Azure technology, it gives the user the assurance that the data is well protected, yet accessible.
Jill Perez, scientist at Solugen, USA evaluated the product during its development and explains its benefits: "BioNsight cloud's ability to store the data from each fermentation run has proven invaluable, making it easy to compare across all bioreactor data. Its online functionality enables real-time viewing of runs, accessible even on mobile devices. In addition, the graphing feature simplifies the visualization of data, making the comparison between past and current runs effortless."
