Diamonds for metrologists
You want a probe that shows no material build-up, even with soft alloys, and no wear, even with extremely hard materials? The ZEISS Diamond!Scan® sets new standards in precision measurement with a ball made of diamond - the hardest material in the world. The probe is therefore considerably more cost-effective due to its longer service life compared to conventional ruby balls.
The ZEISS Diamond!Scan® portfolio was specially developed for scanning on ultra-hard ceramic surfaces or extremely soft aluminum alloys. It consists of diamond or diamond-coated ball elements. No material sticks to ZEISS Diamond!Scan balls and no wear occurs, so that these probes can be used in continuous operation without time-consuming testing and cleaning. The higher purchase price can thus be quickly amortized by the resulting time savings. ZEISS Diamond!Scan® probes are available in 3 different versions, pure, carbo and mono. This ensures that you always have the right probe for your special application.
