In a comprehensive study commissioned by Focus Money and Deutschlandtest, the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research identified the "Digital Champions 2023". GEMÜ achieved 5th place in the ranking out of 91 companies honored in the "mechanical and plant engineering companies" sector.
The IMWF Institute assumes that companies that take a bold step forward in digitalization will be among the winners in their sector in the long term. To identify these companies, the study broadly and comprehensively analyzed statements on 12,000 companies in the categories "digitization," "technology" and "innovation."
The study results are based on the methodology of social listening and a survey of companies. In social listening, approximately 1.5 million mentions were found on the web about the companies studied and analyzed with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). In the data collection by means of questionnaires, the digitization measures were queried in various topic blocks. The results were then evaluated as part of a points system to determine the "Digital Champions 2023."
In the "Machinery and Plant Engineering Companies" sector, the Ingelfingen-based technology company GEMÜ achieved 94.4 out of a possible 100 points and ranked 5th out of a total of 91 award-winning companies.
"This study strengthens us in our strategy of steadily driving forward digitalization at GEMÜ worldwide. I am convinced that advancing digitalization offers many opportunities for the GEMÜ Group. Our goal is to be successful in the long term by leading the way and recognizing the opportunities at an early stage," says Gert Müller, Managing Partner of the GEMÜ Group.
