Eppendorf and the journal Science are now accepting applications for the Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology 2023. The prize is awarded annually on an international level and is endowed with 25,000 US dollars. It supports young scientists who have made outstanding contributions to neurobiological research using methods from molecular and cell biology.
Researchers up to age 35, can apply by June 15, 2023. The award winner and finalists are selected by a panel of independent experts chaired by Peter Stern, Ph.D., Science senior editor.
American scientist Ann Kennedy, Ph.D., assistant professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, U.S., won the 2022 award. Her research focuses on brain activity underlying aggression.
