A new home for 30 million blades

Delivery readiness is becoming increasingly important for survival in times of fragile supply chains and capacity bottlenecks in the transport sector. We recognized these circumstances at an early stage and designed a new blade storage facility or put it into operation at the end of 2021. Thanks to a storage system developed for MOZART with special transport containers, we were able to significantly increase our storage capacity. We currently store around 30 million blades for our customers.

In addition to the increased capacity, the blade warehouse also enables fast access to the required blade type without having to move pallets or manually move heavy blade containers beforehand. This speeds up the packing process enormously, ensures the FIFO process logistically and also reduces the physical strain on our colleagues in the warehouse or in shipping.
