The head tube of the recoilless hammers is filled with steel shot. This means that when the striking face hits the workpiece, the shot filling is delayed. Due to the reduced rebound, the impact energy is optimally utilized. This makes very powerful blows possible.
In addition, working with these hammers is much easier on the joints and quieter than with conventional steel hammers.
