Intrastat declarations are used for the transmission of statistical information to the Federal Statistical Office by those obliged to provide information on their intra-Community trade in goods for which no customs declaration (usually via the IT customs procedure ATLAS) is required for customs or for which no customs declaration is required. The Intrastat declarations are used to transmit the statistical data of the party required to provide information on its intra-Community goods which do not require a customs declaration R. via the IT customs procedure ATLAS( for customs or tax purposes) to the Federal Statistical Office.
