The joy at L.B. Bohle was great. The technology company from Ennigerloh has won the German Brand Award three times.

"At Interpack in May this year, we launched our new generation of machines with the presentation of three new systems," says Managing Director Thorsten Wesselmann, looking back. "Our machines have not only been technically optimized, but also redesigned with a groundbreaking industrial design," continues Wesselmann.

After consulting with industrial designers, with whom the machines were designed, the management of L.B. Bohle management decided to enter the BFC tablet coater, the BRC dry granulator and QbCon 1, a continuous granulator and dryer for research and development, for the design award.

The German Design Award is open to companies, agencies, service providers and marketing experts as well as non-profit and government organizations from all sectors worldwide. the independent jury of the German Design Council decides on admission to the competition and the subsequent winners.

"After the consistently positive reactions to our new machines, we were secretly hoping for an award," reports Wesselmann. L.B. Bohle was named the winner for the BRC and QbCon, while the BFC tablet coater received a special award.

"We were surprised to receive three awards at once," says Wesselmann. Overall, those responsible at L.B. Bohle see the award as recognition that they have taken the right step with the bold new design.

"Thanks to an outstanding team effort within the company, together with the external designers, we have succeeded in developing a completely new design line for our systems that ensures identification with the L.B. Bohle company. Winning the German Design Award will also help us to attract even more attention and visibility in the market," says Managing Director Tim Remmert, who sees further positive effects from the award.
