The Winner901 Nano Particle Size and Potential Analyzer is a new high-end product from Winner Particle Instrument Co., Ltd. for particle size analysis using dynamic light scattering, which can measure both the zeta potential and size of nanoparticles.

Winner901 uses electrophoretic light scattering technology to measure the zeta potential and obtain the isoelectric point, and uses static light scattering (SLS) techniques to measure the molecular weight. Compared with other devices of the same type at home and abroad, it has significant advantages and can be used in various experiments in conjunction with the laser particle size distribution analyzer.


The Winner901 Nano Particle Size and Potential Analyzer has both zeta potential and nano particle size analysis and testing functions. It is suitable for measuring the particle size and surface potential of a variety of different nanoemulsions, suspension colloids, etc. It can be used in the fine chemical industry for nanomaterials, R&D and production quality control of surfactants, oligomers, etc. It is also a product development and quality control tester for printing inks, pharmaceutical preparations and other industries.

Main features

Test principle:
Using the principle of electrophoretic light scattering and photon correlation spectroscopy, the size of the zeta potential of the particles was determined based on the electrophoretic movement speed of the particles in the liquid. The population velocity of the electrophoretic motion of the particles and the amount of Doppler shift of the scattered light caused by the laser irradiation of these particles were varied. Photon correlation spectroscopy analyzes the magnitude of the zeta potential of the particles based on the frequency shift.

Ultra-high-speed data acquisition:
The core component of the device is the HA1024 digital correlator, which can perform electrophoretic scattered light intensity acquisition and autocorrelation function calculation in real time to effectively reflect the information on the electrophoretic movement speed of the particles and provide the basis for the accuracy of the zeta potential test results.
High-sensitivity signal-to-noise ratio:
By using professional high-performance photomultiplier tubes, the instrument has extremely high sensitivity and high signal-to-noise ratio for photon signals.
High-precision constant temperature control:

By using semiconductor temperature control technology, the temperature control accuracy is as high as 0.1 °C, so that the sample is always in a constant temperature state during the entire test process, avoiding the test deviation caused by the change of liquid viscosity and Brownian motion due to temperature changes, and ensuring the accuracy and stability of the test results.
Stable optical path system:
The optical path system built by the optical frequency shifting device and optical fiber coupling technology not only makes the detection system small, but also has strong anti-interference ability, ensuring the stability of the test.


Purchase laser particle size analyzer need to know points:

(1) What materials need test?
If suspension/emulsion, need to choose liquid dispersion particle size analyzer, and some materials are also reacted with water, so need liquid dispersion particle size analyzer also. In general, cement, metal powder and pharamcy materials need dry dispersion
model particle size analyzer.

(2) What size range need test?
Up to now, Based on MIE scattering, laser particle size analyzer can measure the particle range is 0.01um-2000um. If materials range is not so wide, for example, 10um-20um, smaller range of particle size distributon choose narrower range model
will be more accurate, no need to buy large range model.

(3) What is dispersion media?
For liquid model, in order that the sample can disperse well and circualte in the laser particle size analyzer, usually we need to use water, alochol or organic solvent as dispersion media.For dry dispersion model, just use compressed air as dispersion media.In the current market, dry laser particle size analyzer cost is higher than liquid dispersion models, so if good to test, liquid model is better.
