GEMÜ metal butterfly valves are available in many different body configurations, connections, body materials, seal materials and disc designs. Thanks to the modular construction, manually operated butterfly valves are available along with pneumatic or motorised regulating butterfly valves. The GEMÜ 481 is a pneumatic metal butterfly valve and has a special seal geometry for improved sealing. It is tested in accordance with EN 12266-1 and complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive. The body materials range from cast iron to cast stainless steel; the disc materials range from cast iron and super duplex through to cast bronze. In addition to metal butterfly valves, GEMÜ also offers plastic butterfly valves and the GEMÜ 490 high-resistance butterfly valve.
