Stable centre position, guaranteed centre height, highest surface quality and absolute dimensional accuracy - it's easy with AMS for flexible bore machining with small diameters.

This is how it works: With a bevel on the shank and a tapered set screw, the cutting insert is securely clamped in the centre position, a stop pin guarantees the repeat accuracy of the centre height. For optimum wear protection with precise coolant guidance, cutting inserts with internal cooling are also available in addition to the clamping holders. The result is safe processes, maximum precision even with tight tolerances and, in addition, an increase in tool life of up to four times.
