The KARL MAYER Group will take part in this year’s Techtextil India with an information booth set up at the joint exhibition stand of the Federal Republic of Germany
The German Pavilion can be found in Hall 6 during the leading trade show to be held from 3. to 5. October in Mumbai. The visitors to the KARL MAYER stand will be offered a wide range of information in particular on the topics related to the manufacture of shade nets and mosquito nets as well as other semi-technical warp-knitted articles and spacer fabrics. The 3D textiles acted as a real crowd puller already at Techtextil in Frankfurt/Main in June this year. There KARL MAYER was showcasing room elements made from warp-knitted, sound-absorbing spacer textiles. In addition to the manufacturing possibilities of tricot and raschel machines, KARL MAYER Malimo will be presenting the portfolio of its warp-knitting machines equipped with magazine weft insertion system. The stable weft-inserted structures have already been used in India as geotextiles and coating/backing substrates. Besides, biaxial and multiaxial layer fabrics are also well-established articles. The reinforcing textiles are made on KARL MAYER Malimo’s high-performance Multiaxial machines, being employed for the different applications of the composite section. Considering its specific, target-oriented presentation at the fair, KARL MAYER expects a high visitor interest. „Techtextil India has always been well attended. India has been showing a high readiness to use modern textiles. Nevertheless, this business still needs some time to develop“, said Axel Wintermeyer confidently. Therefore, the sales director at KARL MAYER Malimo hopes to have good discussions with visitors, clients, etc. and to be able to pave the way for some machine contracts.
