GEDA at bauma CTT Russia 2018

Managing Director Johann Sailer at the official opening ceremony in Moscow

bauma CTT Russia, the International Show of Construction Equipment and Technologies, is the leading event in the construction sector in Russia. Reason enough therefore for representatives from industry and commerce and service providers from the construction machinery and the building materials industries to converge at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow from 05.06.2018 to 08.06.2018. Bavarian manufacturer of construction hoists and industrial elevators, GEDA Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG was one of the exhibitors from across the world. Following on from its successful exhibitions there over the past few years, the GEDA trade show team once again travelled to the Russian metropolis to the CTT. On the GEDA stand numerous visitors from across the world were able to see the company’s wide product range for themselves.

Johann Sailer at the official opening ceremony
As the representative of the VDMA (German Engineering Federation) the managing director of GEDA, Johann Sailer, together with the chief executive of Messe-München, Klaus Dittrich, and international representatives from business and politics, officially opened the nineteenth bauma CTT Russia. In his address Johann Sailer highlighted the very positive growth signs of the construction equipment and building materials sectors in Russia, and that further work on the framework conditions was still required to consolidate these signals in the future. Sailer continued by saying that it is specifically important during difficult economic times to demonstrate commitment to the sector and be present at bauma CTT Russia in person as an exhibitor.

Show highlight: GEDA BL 2000
In addition to a selection of compact wire rope lifts the GEDA stand also exhibited the GEDA 1200 Z/ZP transport platform for people and materials and the GEDA AB 650 M suspended working platform. The undisputed show highlight on the stand of the height-access specialists from Asbach-Bäumenheim was the GEDA BL 2000 personnel and material hoist. The device is a completely new development and scores highly with its load capacity of 2,000 kg materials or 23 people and a hoisting speed of 55 m/min and extensive state-of-the-art control variants. As soon as it is on its way to the construction site, the GEDA BL 2000 starts winning over users as the individual cabin can be transported as a complete unit on one HGV. Once it arrives on the construction site work to assemble the device can start immediately without any cabin components having to be assembled in advance. The new GEDA BL 2000 is available both as a single and twin cabin design and complies with all the CE-conformity standards.

Customer proximity is the prime focus
The international character of bauma CTT Russia makes it, amongst other things, an ideal springboard for accessing the target markets of Russia and the CIS and it also serves as an ideal business platform for information exchanges and worldwide collaboration. The establishment of both GEDA MAJOR in Istanbul in Turkey at the end of 2012 and of the company's own subsidiary in Moscow in 2008 has for some time now created the framework for GEDA to provide targeted services to these markets.

With another successful participation at CTT, the German construction hoist manufacturer has taken yet another step to supplying the markets of Russia and the CIS with its unique hoist solutions.
