Designed to deliver ambient climate data, time and date instantaneously, the new temperature and humidity measuring instruments are vital for fast accurate measurement. The new Testo 623 temperature and humdity measuring instrument, with its history function, is a valuable instrument, as thorough analysis of crucial time periods can be undertaken. It is ideal for facilities and estates managers, museums, offices and warehouses. "Did the temperature or humidity during the nigh vary, having an effect on working conditions?" Questions like these can be answered quickly with the help of the instrument. The Testo 623 shows current and past measurement values in a large, very easy-to-read display. The user can view either the humidity or the temperature values of the past days in histogram, displaying the measurement values for the past hour, 2 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours or 12 days. In total, the Testo 623 stores the data from the past twelve weeks! Precision humidity, temperature and pressure measurement: In addition to temperature and humidity, the Testo 622 also measures pressure, and is of particular interest for applications in laboratories. In the large, easy-to-read display, it shows the current measurement values as well as date and time. It provides all important values for protcols at a glance. A reminder function informs the user when the next calibration is due.With the help of the optional calibration and adjustment software from Testo, the user can carry out the calibration and the adjustment directly on site.

The instrument's intuitive operation allows you to measure high and low pressure quickly and precisely, and with the two temperature inputs you can simutaneously calculate superheating and subcooling. The brightly illuminated display allows fast and easy readout of all measurement values and there are 31 refrigerants stored in the instrument, which can be selected via a direct button. The ideal tool for commissioning systems: The evacuation of the system is confirmed for you as the instrument displaus vacuum values. In addition to this, a temperature-compensated tightness test of the system can be carried out.By measuring the system pressure and the ambient temperature over a defined period, the users can make a statement on the tightness of a system - allowing commissioning to be carried out reliably with the Testo 550.
Increasing fuel costs are spotlighting efficiency monitoring in thermal systems by means of emission measurements more and more. Testo AG has now introduced a 4-sensor instrument onto the market, with which emission measurement will be easier, faster and more flexible in the future. It is equiped with an O2 sensor by default. Three additional sensors can be fitted individually configured. This helps to adapt the analyzer to your special application and needs. You can choose between NO2, SO2, COlow, NOlow, NO and CO.The Testo 340 can be operated with one hand, offering optimum handling for spot measurements, for example on burners or industrial engines.
True to this motto, the laboratory has found the solution for the project “Determination of undesired thermal loss in bio-gas plants”. The task: The measurement object is a bio-gas plant with several buildings and gas silos, which often reach heights of 20 m. Thermography is to be used to show bio-gas plant operators where heat loss is occurring, or where there are gas leaks. Since the gas is manufactured from biological products, a heat spectrum occurs which is easily represented using thermography. Heat loss from pipelines and transfer points also play an important part, and can be clearly differentiated using thermography. In order to create uniform biological processes, and thus hinder vertical and horizontal layering, a process-dependent heat transfer must t ake place, e. g. from the heated reactor walls to the fermentation substrate. The main task of an optimized biological process is heat transfer by adjusted mixer settings. In addition to this, heat bridges to floor slabs and to the water table layers must be taken into account. Heat radiation loss from the gas hoods and gas sacks is also very significant for the stabilization and efficiency of gas production. The fermentation processes of the input substrate can be monitored for uniform heat distribution, and thus for the success of the fermentation. The solution: The thermal imager testo 881 used on bio-gas plants and pipelines shows up any leakages or heat losses clearly and optically for the user. With a thermal resolution of < 50 mK, the testo 881 delivers high definition images which emphasize and visualize even the smallest temperature differences.In addition to the infrared recording, the testo 881 creates a parallel real image of the measurement site with the integrated digital camera. The optical colour alarm in the thermal image of the testo 881 makes areas of critical temperature on the bio-gas plant measurement object immediately recognizable (isotherm function).The thermal imagers from Testo with integrated digital camera automatically store an infrared and a real image simultaneously. With the professional image overlay Testo TwinPix, these two images can be superimposed over each other in the PC software “IRSoft”. The information from the thermal image and the real image are then displayed together in one image.A further advantage is the flexibility provided by exchangeable lenses. A standard and a telephoto lens allow adaptation to the different sizes and distances of measurement objects.The operation of the thermal imager testo 881 and the corresponding software presented no problems for the German laboratory. The instrument could be put ot use without personal product training, based on the instruction manual and a short telephone instruction session with a Testo employee.
Compressed air is a costly resource. In four diameter sizes, the Testo 6440 offers a compact design coupled with integrated high-performance technology, which provides all necessary signal outputs. The built-in inflow and outflow pipes guarantee optimum accuracy and the thermal glass coated ceramic sensor offers robustness and fast reaction times.
Flue gas analyses have the purpose of tuning industrial burners and monitoring the composition of flue gases in raw and pure gas. The monitoring of atmospheres in process ovens is becoming more and more important. The easy-to-use testo 350 flue gas analysis systems make it easy to measure complicated thermal processes. With electrochemical measurement cells, the portable instruments are not sensitive to shock. On account of their wide, very linear measurement ranges, they offer a high zero point stability and accuracy with low to zero cross-sensitivity to other gas components, humidity or pressure. A specially developed CO2 infrared sensor facilitates direct CO2 as well as compensation of the cross-sensitivity during O2 measurements. Accurate measurements are guaranteed by a measurement range extension (CO dilution) when CO levels are high.

Distances of up to several hundred metres between the gas sampling point and burner can be easily bridged thanks to the detachable Control Unit. Atmospheres in processes can be monitored and doucmented using testo 350 M/XL. Burners which are optimally tuned save you energy costs, reduce maintenance and extend the service life of the burner.
