Laser sensor LAH-G1 - optical distance sensors with measurement value display

The analogue laser sensor LAH-G1 is setting new standards in optical distance measurement. Thanks to its sophisticated CMOS line sensor, the LAH-G1 series gives particularly precise measurements with a resolution of up to 0.5 ƒÊm. Moreover, the series has a measurement frequency of 5 kHz and a low linearity error (. }0.1% of the measurement range) and is thus extremely well suited to highly dynamic processes.

The LAH-G1 stands out from the other laser sensors on the market in this class thanks to its all-in-one concept. Thus, the control unit and measurement value display are integrated in the sensor head. There are four variants, covering the measurement ranges 30 } 4 mm, 50 } 10 mm, 85 } 20 mm and 120 } 60 mm. The visible red light semiconductor class 2 laser can be aligned with pinpoint accuracy to measure the distance from an object. The LAH-G1 is particularly light and suitable for the assembly of moving elements thanks to its compact shape and its plastic casing strengthened with glass fibre with protection class IP67.

As well as its voltage output signal (0-10 V) and current output signal (4-20 mA), the analogue laser sensor LAH-G1 has additional functions, such as: timing, triggering, remote interlock, laser control, limit and zero-point setting and offset adjustment. The laser can be configured using the sensorfs intuitive control element directly on the device.

The LAH-G1 series can be used in all known ranges of dimension control (width, length, diameter etc.). Its features make it ideal for use in the production measurement technology of electronics, circuit boards, the automotive industry (e.g. tyre production, metal surfaces) or for detecting profiles or contours.

The tried-and-tested LVDT series LV by WayCon is being expanded with the LV-G, which is equipped with rod end bearings. Thanks to the rod end bearings, the inductive sensors can be directly attached to the object to be measured. Here, the self-orienting rod end bearings facilitate the absorption of transverse force. Attachment via rod end bearings is ideal for installation at the end of a piston rod or the base of a hydraulic cylinder. Regular relubrication of the rod end bearings by the customer can also prolong the life and increase process safety.
With the IMX, WayCon Positionsmesstechnik offers a device that quickly converts input signals (position, frequency, SSI and speed) into absolute analog values. The analog variables of current and voltage can be scaled from 0/4 ... 20 mA and -10...+10 V respectively as desired.
Laser distance sensors of the LAS2-TM series impress with their high precision and their miniature housing.
Eddy current sensors of the EZ1000 series are designed for measurements under the toughest conditions and can be used in areas with explosion hazards. Thanks to the eddy current measuring principle, the measurement is contactless and is not affected by environmental influences such as water, dust or oil.

Have you met TEDS?
TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) plugs store sensor data like a conventional data sheet. Connected to a measuring amplifier, all required information about the sensor can be read out quickly, easily, and directly.
With a housing diameter of only 4 mm, the LVISM is one of the smallest LVDT sensors of its kind. Furthermore, with a length of 7 cm it is not even twice as long as a match.
