GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co. KG, the construction and industrial hoist specialist, has secured an important partner in Finland in the form of MN-Lifttek OY and further expanded its global sales network.

The company MN-Lifttek OY was founded in 1995 and is based in the Finnish city of Vantaa. Alongside the sale of new and used equipment in the area of height access technology, the company’s portfolio also includes a rental service and the provision of spare parts and accessories. Its customer base includes the largest and most renowned rental companies in Finland with Ramirent, Cramo and HRK. Construction companies such as Skanska and YIT, as well as numerous industrial companies, also place their trust in solutions offered by MN-Lifttek OY.

Due to its specialisation in Manitou products, the company is especially well-known amongst large rental companies in Finland thanks to its first-class solutions and outstanding service provision. Furthermore, MN-Lifttek OY has a powerful sales network that stretches across the whole of Finland.
The cooperation between MN-Lifttek OY and GEDA has now been official since 1 January 2017.

MN-Lifttek will initially integrate equipment from the range of GEDA temporary installations into its product portfolio. Alongside telescopic platforms, access platforms, pumps and generators, the range of products offered by the Finish company will now also include compact wire rope lifts and versatile transport platforms “Made in Germany” in the future. “We were looking for height access solutions to expand our portfolio”, said Seppo Turunen, Sales Director of MN-Lifttek OY. “GEDA products complement our existing range perfectly and deliver ideal synergy effects for our customers”, according to Turunen. Providing perfect support is important to the specialists at MN-Lifttek Therefore, employees have already completed special training courses on handling GEDA products.

GEDA: Experts for height access – also on Finnish construction sites
GEDA can look back on decades of experience on the Scandinavian market. The construction hoist experts have already concluded numerous successful projects in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. For example, a GEDA 300 Z is currently being used on Helsinki Cathedral – the landmark and one of the main tourist attractions in the Finnish capital – for the completion of comprehensive renovation work.

The extent of the GEDA product range is second to none. From compact 60 kg wire rope lifts for workmen to personnel and material hoists with load capacities up to 3.7 tonnes and lifting heights up to 400 m – the product range could not be broader in its scope. Florian Draxler, Area Sales Manager at GEDA, is convinced: “GEDA is the only manufacturer worldwide to offer everything - from tender preparation through to service - from a single source.
